Karen was born in Prague and grew up in Stockholm and Sydney. She currently lives in one of Europe's smallest countries, Luxembourg, with her husband and their two sons. Karen's first two World City Guides for Kids are on Prague and Paris. Little Globetrotters Visit Perpignan and the Catalan Dragons is her third book in the series.
